Have you tried Finggers? It’s a great new social media site devoted to iPhone and iPad users. Once you create your account you can be followed and follow other users and you can list the apps that you have on your iPad or iPhone.
It’s a great way to find new apps based on what users like.
It’s simple, effective, clean and works well. I did not notice an option to look at my investment account but I am sure that this will eventually come as well as it would be nice to place a buy/sell order from wherever you are.
I am having a couple of problems that I am not being able to resolve.
Problem # 1 is that iWeb crashes on my kid’s iMac as soon as we open it.
I ran disk utility and got it to repair permissions but that did not resolve the issue.
Problem # 2 is that I added a contact through the contacts app on my iPhone and despite the fact that I can see it on the iPhone the contact information does not flow to Address Book on my Mac after I sync the iPhone with my Mac via iTunes.
I’ve tried the sync a few times and yes I have all the proper check box marked on iTunes info tab.
Any clues?
I am wondering if I found another couple of bugs or if I am having issues in the interface between the chair and the keyboard.
The good folks from my company’s IT department connected my iPhone to the exchange 2007 server and it’s working very nicely.
The only challenge that I have noticed so far is that I have both my business email and personal email configured on my iPhone but the device OS only allows me to configure one email signature.
Am I seeing things or is that the way it is?
I will report my experience with this as I progress using the iPhone as business tool.
One problem that affects most computer users is the fact that you have to track multiple user ids and passwords that you assign to different web services.
If you are assigning the same user id and password to every web service you use then you should seriously re-assess your security strategy.
If you are like me and you never repeat a password on two different sites than 1Password is the app for you.
1password will integrate with your Safari, Firefox and other Mac web browsers and will capture the combination of userid/password that you enter on any web service and will save that information in a database that can only be unlocked by you.
One password will also allow you to securely store passwords and other information that are not necessarily related to a web service (e.g. Credit card numbers) and will allow you to create IDs that you can use to fill online purchase forms.
There’s also an iPhone 1Password app that will sync with your Mac and will allow you to carry your passwords with you wherever you have to go to.
It’s a great app and I have been using it now for quite some time.
