It’s simple, effective, clean and works well. I did not notice an option to look at my investment account but I am sure that this will eventually come as well as it would be nice to place a buy/sell order from wherever you are.
In case you are tired of paying for SMS to chat with your iPhone friends then WhatsApp may be the app for you.
WhaydApp is a direct iPhone-2-iPhone messenger chat application that allows you allows you to carry on a conversation in real time with your contacts without having to pay for SMS.
What’s App will ask for your phone number in order to allow it to identify you on your friends’ Contacts database and it does the job well.
One problem that affects most computer users is the fact that you have to track multiple user ids and passwords that you assign to different web services.
If you are assigning the same user id and password to every web service you use then you should seriously re-assess your security strategy.
If you are like me and you never repeat a password on two different sites than 1Password is the app for you.
1password will integrate with your Safari, Firefox and other Mac web browsers and will capture the combination of userid/password that you enter on any web service and will save that information in a database that can only be unlocked by you.
One password will also allow you to securely store passwords and other information that are not necessarily related to a web service (e.g. Credit card numbers) and will allow you to create IDs that you can use to fill online purchase forms.
There’s also an iPhone 1Password app that will sync with your Mac and will allow you to carry your passwords with you wherever you have to go to.
It’s a great app and I have been using it now for quite some time.
Stainless is another contender in the OS X web browser segment.
Among some of the key features of Stainless is the fact that each browser tab runs as a separate process and if a Tab crashes, for whatever reason, it won’t affect the whole browser.
Stainless also allows you to log into a site using different credentials in separate tabs.
